The theme of the fourth £25,000 annual Davidson Prize was 'Rethinking Home - Adapt and Reuse'. The brief asked multi-disciplinary teams to communicate inventive solutions to address housing shortage in the context of climate change.

2023

VIEW RESULTS

The theme of the third £25,000 annual Davidson Prize was 'Somewhere to Call Home'. The brief asked multi-disciplinary teams to communicate innovative design solutions for a home community where people who have experienced the trauma of homelessness and housing insecurity are given time to settle, recover and find their bearings.

2022

VIEW RESULTS

The theme of the second £25,000 annual Davidson Prize was ‘Co–Living – A New Future?’. The brief asked whether co-living could offer a transformative key to the design of our homes – as well as our communities. The overall winner and People's Choice winner were announced at a live ceremony in June 2022 during the London Festival of Architecture.

2021

VIEW RESULTS

For its inaugural year, the theme of the 2021 Davidson Prize was 'Home/Work – A New Future', which was prompted by the need to reassess how we want to live post-pandemic, with many people saying they would like to work from home more often. The prize for thought-provoking ideas around the design 
of the home was awarded in June 2021.
